About an important confirmation of the quality of the Algema Blitzlader 2 the company EDER can be pleased about. Recently Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge has confirmed the harmlessness for the Algema Blitzlader 2 on the base vehicle Crafter confirmed.
The different conversions to the Algema Blitzlader on the basis of the VW Crafter was examined by Volkswagen commercial vehicles as single cab, double cab with front as well as with rear drive for technical harmlessness. We are pleased about the confirmation for our conversion concept, stressed sales manager Hubert Gasperlmair.
The new generation of the Algema Blitzlader 2 makes professional car transport even easier, safer and more economical. As innovative advancement of the proven autotransporter with the singular bend mechanism, offers the Blitzlader 2 an unbeatable payload of up to 3 tons, says Hubert Gasperlmair. Even most small vans can be transported quickly and easily with the car transporter. One example is the variant with double cab, which is now also available with a loading area of 5,500 mm loading length and offers space for up to 7 people.
If a construction machine breaks down or the deadline pressure for a construction site is very high, another vehicle must be on site quickly. The ALGEMA Multitrans with standard loading dimensions of 4.6 5 meters offers a flexible transport solution. The multi-purpose trailer for smaller excavators and construction machinery up to approx. 2,600 kg impresses with its robust frame and side planking made of hot-dip galvanized steel, the pendulum axle Xline chassis, the unique articulation mechanism and its lightweight aluminum-steel compound construction.
With the development and production of professional transport solutions, Eder GmbH has made a name for itself throughout Europe. As a manufacturer of transport solutions, manufacturing quality is our top priority, says Sales Manager Hubert Gasperlmair.
Thus, the frame and side planking of the trailer, manufactured with a loading height of up to 650 mm, are made of hot-dip galvanized steel. In addition, the flexible Trailer is equipped with an abrasion-resistant 21 mm thick screen-printed floor. The anodized aluminum used ensures a hard and extremely scratch-resistant surface on the trailer's mudguards. The 350 mm high drop sides of the trailer, which is up to 2200 mm wide, are also made of aluminum. The resulting low dead weight during empty runs ensures low fuel consumption and tire wear.
The particularly low tare weight of the Multitrans, which does not exceed 875 kg, results in an optimum payload ratio that guarantees exceptionally economical operation. The articulated mechanism and the 500 mm high tailgate, which can be used as a loading ramp, with 10 or 11 degree ramp angles and optionally folds inwards, save a lot of time and resources in every operation. In addition, the loading platform can also be tilted by means of a spindle, thus offering the possibility of problem-free drive-up with all different and common wheelbases. Durability and a robust design of all functional components are further important factors.
The axle shock absorbers are designed for speeds of up to 100 km/h and have the appropriate approval. A lift axle is optionally available for the Trailer .
The extensive accessories and special construction solutions available for this transport solution are aimed at making everyday work safer and more practical. The program ranges from tarpaulin superstructures and loading aids to spare wheel holders, manual and electric winches, tool boxes and much more.
Warmly and in a good mood, 30 trainees started again at Eder GmbH on 02.09.2019, 22 of them alone at the headquarters in Tuntenhausen. The new trainees were warmly welcomed with a tour of the company and an invitation to the Oktoberfest in the Flötzinger tent.
We are pleased about such a sympathetic new generation, which we will train in the most different departments! says marketing boss Klaus Kunert. And again we dare to start a new apprenticeship - the technical businessman in the field of metal construction, which includes a technical as well as a commercial training. We hope that we will soon be able to offer this idea of double training for other technical professions, such as the mechatronics engineer for agricultural and construction machinery technology. We are looking forward to a varied training period. Applications for 2020 are already starting.
A positive conclusion of this year's IAA can be drawn by the transport specialists of the company Eder . As a small but fine vehicle manufacturer of car transporters and as the only commercial vehicle body manufacturer, the company was able to enjoy lively visitor interest in the vehicles of the Alegma and Fit-Zel brands.
According to sales manager Hubert Gasperlmair, the entire product range of vehicles and trailers met with great interest. Special attention was paid to the Algema Blitzlader 2 Crafter, which was shown for the first time as a service vehicle for VW and Audi dealerships.
In close cooperation with Volkswagen AG, a breakdown and workshop vehicle was presented in Frankfurt that is geared to the needs of Volkswagen dealerships. The car transporter is specially designed to transport the complete range of vehicles from Volkswagen and its brand world, Hubert Gasperlmair makes clear. The vehicle can easily accommodate everything from the up! to vans with a payload of up to 3 tons. This also includes the IQ DRIVE special models with high dead weight as well as lowered sports cars with little ground clearance.
The complete equipment of the breakdown and tool set can be easily accommodated in the double cab of the service van. In the basic package of the VW variant, this consists of, among other things, a jack, tow bar, jumper cables, wheel chocks and guide cones.
Dual-use solutions
The vehicles with double cabs met with great interest not only from Volkswagen partners, but also from other visitors. The space gained in this way means that both the Algema Blitzlader 2 and the Fit-Zel Speeder 2 can be used as a sophisticated dual-use solution. This means that the vehicles can be used not only as transport and towing vehicles, but also as roadside assistance and workshop vehicles, emphasizes Hubert Gasperlmair. Thanks to the extended cab, there is room for up to six people without sacrificing load capacity.
Even in the double cab version, not a millimeter is saved on the loading length of 5,500 mm. This combination makes it possible to quickly and easily rescue not only vehicles but also their occupants from awkward positions. The dual-use variants of the Algema Blitzlader 2 and the Fit-Zel Speeder 2 are further proof that creative and practical vehicle transport solutions come from Eder Fahrzeugbau, which are not only developed but also built in-house in Germany. The numerous visitors to the stand at this year's IAA were once again able to see the quality for themselves.
Three apprentices from the Tuntenhausen-based family business, EDER GmbH, were awarded the Bavarian State Prize.
Due to their outstanding performance, Michael Haas (wholesale and export merchant), Andreas Mainwolf (agricultural and construction machinery mechatronics technician from Fischbachau) and Fabian Hörl (technical product designer) received the coveted award. With a grade point average below 1.5, they were among the best in their year of training. The three apprentices have demonstrated a great deal of ambition, diligence, skill and motivation during their training and have now been honored for their academic achievements.
What is more important for classic car fans than that his vehicle remains intact? In this context, safe and professional transport is a major issue. For this reason, it was a matter of course for the team of EDER Fahrzeugbau to present the most important products at the most important classic car fair in Austria in Tulln again this year. In particular the Euro-Trans tarpaulin trailer drew the eyes on itself, it offers the best possible characteristics for an undamaged transport. The technical refinements made in Tuntenhausen were an incentive for promising discussions. Thanks go to the team from Austria on site.
The vocational school teachers from the Georgia Northwestern Technical Collage gained an insight into dual training in Germany and into a production plant at our Algema and Fitzel vehicle manufacturing facility in Tuntenhausen. This was also preparation for a planned exchange between the students from the American vocational school and the vocational school in Bad Aibling. The teachers were given an impression of the training profession of metalworker on the practical side and at the same time the implementation in our company was made clear.
The planned exchange program will give the American and German students an overview of each other's apprenticeship occupations and programs. In addition, the focus for our prospective metalworkers is on improving their English skills, getting to know a different culture and the chance to get to know the industry.
Already for the 31st time our Eder vehicle construction was represented at the largest international fair for classic car fans. Due to a restructuring of the fairground our team was to be found at a new, very good location, which brought a high frequency. A wide range of products informed the visitors about the variety of our products and the individual possibilities. Of special interest was the Speeder2 with tarpaulin body, which is the perfect solution for the transport of expensive classic cars. We would like to thank the entire team for their efforts.
Monday evening 11.02.2019, around 9 p.m. eager eavesdropping in the Rosenheim cinema: The employees of the EDER group of companies are given brief insights into the filming days and experiences of Mathias Goldbach alias Gregor Ries, managing director of the group of companies.
In September of last year, he went on an undercover mission and gained insight into the most diverse areas of the company. The first broadcast took place in mid-February, and colleagues were only too happy to accept the invitation to watch the pack with the Undercover Boss. In the best of moods, the focus was on the show's candidates and the prizes they received as recognition at the end of the broadcast.
But to the beginning: Gregor Ries, Managing Director of the EDER GmbH Group for over 8 years, got involved with the television format Undercover Boss. For his role as Mathias, who comes to try out for the new show Germany's Toughest Packers, he was introduced to his colleagues with a striking hairpiece, glasses, beard and matching work clothes. No one suspected that it was actually their boss.
In his various jobs, he then definitely worked up a sweat and had to demonstrate stamina.
On the very first day, he had to get into the middle of the cow herd: Together with herd manager Andrea Meerwarth of the Lely Center Bavaria, they went to the first milking. In addition to the technical component, driving the cows was the first big challenge and brought with it many a realization: cows are also sensitive and have different characters, according to Mathias. But there were also important insights for the work of a herd manager: It is an important service of the company, the importance of which is easily underestimated.
The disguised manager spent the second day in the DIY store with his colleague Hans-Jürgen König. There he had to climb to lofty heights, which is not really his forte, and stow away stock. Thanks to the precise instructions of the expert, the numerous quite sweaty tasks were completed here as well. But this day also brought Ries to his physical limits and the realization that the colleagues on site deliver top performance every day.
On the third day, Gregor Ries returned to a farm where a new milking robot was installed in a barn. Especially explosive here: the slightest carelessness can be very expensive - a robot costs far more than 100,000 Euro. Michael Fordey explained his tasks to Mathias directly and let him get to work according to the alleged broadcast format of Germany's toughest packers.
His last assignment took him to the agricultural technology workshop at the EDER branch in Matzing. There, trainee Mathias spent the day together with apprentice Tobias Frisch, who explained the machines and tasks to him perfectly despite his young age. However, even the best explanations do not make up for a lack of practice and routine. And so there was quite a bit of oil that day that landed next to the drip pans and had to be mopped up by the managing director himself.
There were more than astonished faces then at the dissolution at the company headquarters in Tuntenhausen. The four employees were not treated to the expected final meeting for the disguised show, but rather to the surprise of the managing director disguised as an intern. He expressed his absolute praise and appreciation to all of them for their daily commitment, their great dedication and their loyalty to the company. As a thank you, the four received something that turned out to be a passion in the personal conversations. Andrea Meerwarth gets to go heli-skiing in Switzerland, Hans-Jürgen König goes to Disneyland in Paris with the whole family, Michael Fordey can visit his brother in China and spend a vacation there with him, and Tobias Frisch, whose car broke down shortly before the breakup, is given a brand-new Ford Focus until the end of his training.
For Gregor Ries, the Undercover Boss assignment was a very important insight into the family business. He was inspired by the dedication and high level of competence of his colleagues in their respective areas and gained a completely different insight into the daily working world.
At the beginning of the year, EDER Fahrzeugbau and its brands Algema and Fit-Zel met with an unexpectedly overwhelming demand at the AutoZum trade fair in Salzburg. In addition to the presentation of the entire range of towing vehicles and trailers, the new Festplateau 2 and the Blitzlader 2 were in the center of attention. The economy of the Blitzlader 2 has been further improved and allows a towing capacity of 3.5 tons. Thanks to the EasyLoad articulated loading system, the approach angle is very low and allows a vehicle to be loaded within eight seconds.
The vehicle construction department of the Eder group of companies puts all its expertise into the further development of existing products and responds to the many customer requests and inquiries. For example, the Fit-Zel Speeder is currently available with an air-suspended chassis and, thanks to its lightweight design, can also be driven without a truck driver's license.
The vehicles and Trailer , both developed and built in Tuntenhausen in Upper Bavaria, have stood for the highest quality for decades and meet every requirement in terms of user-friendliness, efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
