The presentation of the new Algema Blitzlader 2 shows that vehicle development at Algema and Fit-Zel does not end with the presentation of a new vehicle, but is a continuous process. Thanks to its sophisticated technology, high user-friendliness, efficiency and economy, a special success story in the field of car transport is being continued.
For the first time, the Algema Blitzlader 2 will be shown with a revised design. An important part of this is the reinforcement of the torsion-resistant frame. This enables a trailer load of up to 3.5 tons. In combination with a Trailer , this further expands its use as a road train.
Thanks to the optimized EasyLoad articulated loading system, the vehicle is ready for loading in just eight seconds. The loading angle is only 10 degrees and can optionally be reduced to 4.5 degrees. Thanks to the short loading process, valuable working time and therefore costs are saved. This increases productivity for users in car dealerships, workshops or towing companies.
Thanks to its payload of up to 3.1 tons, the weight-optimized vehicle can replace a higher-class truck. Getting there and back again quickly also serves the safety of the employees, adds Sales Manager Hubert Gasperlmair.
Thanks to the well thought-out design solutions, the use of aluminum throughout the superstructure and the high material quality, maintenance of the Algema Blitzlader 2 is also reduced to a minimum. This saves downtime during workshop visits and ensures high availability. The Can-Bus electronics, which are used in the Blitzlader 2 and supports maintenance processes.
The low dead weight during empty runs ensures low fuel consumption and tire wear. The savings potential is additionally supported by the optional lift axle. Hubert Gasperlmair explains: "Our holistic approach to cost-effectiveness is proven time and again by the optimum residual values at the end of the service life of our transport solutions.
Many options for individual design

In the end, quality always makes the decisive difference
If man asks Claus Reher what was decisive for his professional career, he doesn't have to think long. I have always been fascinated by optimizing existing products and thus ensuring more quality. For 35 years, quality has been firmly linked for him to the trailers and vehicles from Algema and Fit-Zel.
Actually, the young Claus Reher wanted to devote himself to the administration of a large agricultural business after his studies. However, during his time at university, not only he but also companions discovered his penchant for the trade, which he turned to. Added to this was, more practically, his fascination with technical details and the ability to optimize existing solutions for their practical use.
During his trading tours in the agricultural and technical sectors, there were always opportunities to discover objects for optimization. For example, he developed the tarpaulin roller for the protection of horses and their trouble-free transport in trailers. The box lock for Trailer , which has been on the market for a long time, is also a patented development made by Claus Reher.
He also discovered potential for optimization in this way with a manufacturer of car transporters, which could not be reconciled with his ideas of a high-quality solution. However, he had discovered a topic that he was convinced could be marketed well with the appropriate quality. And so his path led him to the IAA in Frankfurt in 1986.
From the invention of the box lock to the lift axle
More than three decades later, Claus Reher still remembers how he came across Trailer and vehicles that fully met his expectations at the Frankfurt trade fair at the stand of Algema and Fit-Zel. It quickly became clear to me that I wanted to sell them, and on the same day he ordered the first Trailer. This laid the foundation for a collaboration that has now lasted 35 years.
Only a short time later, Claus Reher took over sales throughout northern Germany for the Trailer and vehicles from Algema and Fitzel, which he now sells from the North Sea and Baltic Sea coasts to Frankfurt, where the cooperation once began.
What connected us with Claus Reher from the beginning was and is until today the common conviction that qualitatively high-quality vehicles and Trailer prevail in the long term in the market, stresses the managing partner of the Eder group, Peter Eder. For this reason it does not surprise that from our selling partnership more became fast, adds Peter Eder. We have recognized that we can achieve more together, adds Claus Reher. So the engineering graduate was soon involved not only in trade show planning, but also in the development process of new vehicles with his knowledge and ideas. And this quickly bore fruit. At the end of the 1980s, he developed the concept for the lift axle, which he implemented together with the then Algema design engineer and finally applied for a patent.
Representative location in the north
Over the decades, the one-man company with a rented office and a small exhibition area grew into a business that today occupies a total area of 10,000 square meters with ten employees in Arndt-Straße in Lünen. In addition to a modern showroom and delivery hall, the northern German presence of Algema and Fit-Zel includes an efficient workshop and its own office building.
Peter Eder appreciates above all Claus Reher's ability not only to take up requirements from the market, but also to convert them into concrete products and components through his technical knowledge.
Dipl.-Ing. Claus Reher has never regretted his decision to work closely with the company. In the end, quality always makes the decisive difference, which is visible in the consistency of our cooperation. And since son Tobias Reher has been active in the company since 2013 and thus takes responsibility for the future, nothing stands in the way of 35 more successful years of partnership.
Anyone who purchases a new vehicle transporter or Trailer from the brands ALGEMA and FIT-ZEL now can benefit from a financing and leasing solution with which the specialists for transport solutions supported workshops, car dealerships, and customers in the towing and vehicle transport sector during the Corona crisis.
Under the title Use Now Pay Later, an offer was created in which customers have been able to use vehicles or Trailer immediately since June 01, 2020, but the financing installments do not start until 180 days later.
With the six-month payment deferral, we want to give vehicle and towing specialists in Germany the opportunity to generate revenue with modern and efficient transport solutions even six months before installment payments start, explains Sales Manager Markus Bonnetsmüller the background to the campaign.
In order to keep charges low thereafter as well, terms of 36 to 84 months are offered as part of credit financing. According to Markus Bonnetsmüller, the possible time window for financing and a leasing model that is also available was deliberately chosen to be long. Our aim is to keep the financial burden of the installments manageable. Thanks to the high quality of the vehicles and Trailer , they can be used for a long time over the term of the contract.
He was a man with a big heart, indescribable courage and entrepreneurial foresight. He loved people, and he loved his Tuntenhausen. On January 22, Josef Eder, the company founder of Eder Familien Holding, fell asleep peacefully at the age of 81.
He leaves behind a large family, including his wife Hildegard, his daughter Hildegard, his sons Josef and Peter, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as more than 2100 employees.
A passionate entrepreneur
Josef Eder was a passionate entrepreneur. Born on August 11, 1938, into a farm with a blacksmith and wagon shop, he became a blacksmith and later trained as a master agricultural machinery mechanic with Bader Senior in Feldkirchen. At the age of 18, he took over responsibility for his parents' farm in Tuntenhausen, brought motor oil to the farmers on his moped and began trading.
Laying the foundation stone for Eder agricultural technology in 1956
Thus, in 1956, he laid the foundation for today's Eder-Landtechnik, which has developed into a professional partner for agriculture and other industries thanks to a wide range of products, from forklifts to tractors and harvesting machines to barn technology. His entrepreneurial courage cost Sepp Eder many a sleepless night, but always brought him forward. He took over companies in order to preserve jobs. At the end of the 6o's, he led the family business through a crisis in agriculture. To put the company on a second secure footing, he entered the automotive trade in 1967. Today, the Auto Eder Group is one of the largest automobile dealers in southern Bavaria with 13 vehicle brands.
Teacher of hundreds of young people
Josef Eder shaped the economic development of an entire region and was the master teacher of hundreds of young people. His visionary decisions had a signal effect, for example in Kolbermoor. The Auto Eder site there successfully expanded to five car dealerships and provided the impetus for the development of the industrial park.
The development of his home town of Tuntenhausen was particularly close to Josef Eder 's heart. In 1970, he laid the foundation stone here for the heart of the Eder family holding company, in 1982 the first Profi DIY store was built and in 2017, with the Edeka store, a local supply center for the village. His vision will be fulfilled when Aldi and a drugstore are also allowed to settle here.
Setting the course for the future in 2002
Josef Eder set the course for the continued existence of the Eder family holding company in 2002 when he handed over the business to his two sons Josef and Peter Eder. He remained the heart and family council for the company until his death.
Josef Eder loved people, met everyone at eye level and listened to his family, employees and anyone who needed his help. In 2002, he was awarded the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Husband, father, grandpa and great-grandpa
Josef Eder was a husband, father, grandpa and great-grandpa, entrepreneur, teacher and local councillor. Until the end, he enjoyed having a coffee in the morning at the Schiedermeier bakery or meeting his old colleagues and friends at the market café in Tuntenhausen.
On February 1, at 11 a.m., this wonderful person will be remembered once again in the Tuntenhausen Basilica. As a farewell, he does not want flowers, but a donation for the Neighborhood Assistance Tuntenhausen.
