ALGEMA FIT-ZEL - Quality by conviction

For over 40 years, the name EDER has been synonymous with high-quality, technically innovative and practical solutions in trailers and vehicles for car transport. These are known and used throughout Europe under the names ALGEMA and FIT-ZEL.
As in other fields of activity of EDER GmbH, the requirements of the customers are the focus of our own work at ALGEMA and FIT-ZEL. On this basis, solutions are created again and again, which shape the technical development in the market segment. Two examples are the development of the lift axle in trailers and the articulated lightning loader in the field of transport vehicles.

To this day, the vehicles are produced at the Bavarian headquarters of EDER GmbH in Tuntenhausen near Rosenheim. Every year, several hundred vehicles and about 1000 Trailer leave the modern assembly halls. To meet the continuously increasing sales figures, a first new hall for vehicle and trailer production was built in 2008. In 2015, the existing vehicle manufactory was expanded by two additional halls with a total area of 3120 square meters. As a result, the work processes were adapted to the requirements of modern vehicle production. A second location is maintained by EDER GmbH in Neuhofen an der Krems, Austria. The production of aluminum body parts was concentrated here.

With the vehicles and trailers of the brands ALGEMA and FIT-ZEL, standards are still set today in the areas of payload, ease of use, driving behaviour, functionality and design. In the interest of customers, emphasis is placed on creating added value, such as availability at consistently low operating costs. The high technical level of the vehicles and Trailer enables many years of use.

For over 35 years, the name EDER has stood for high-quality, technically innovative and practical solutions in trailers and vehicles for car transport. These are known and used throughout Europe under the brands ALGEMA and FIT-ZEL.

Dipl.-Ing. Claus Reher GmbH & Co. KG. What began with the purchase of the first Trailer in 1986 quickly developed into an important sales partnership. From Lünen, in the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region, Claus Reher took over sales for the Trailer and vehicles throughout northern Germany. Today, Dipl.-Ing. Claus Reher GmbH & Co. KG services the postcode areas 1 to 6 for ALGEMA and FIT-ZEL and thus the area from Flensburg to Heidelberg and in the east to Frankfurt/Oder.

Since 1991, the company has been based at its current location at Arndtstraße 25 in Lünen. In addition to the sales offices with administration, a modern workshop and a spacious exhibition are located on the 10,000 square metre company premises. Here, interested parties can take a look at all current products at any time, regardless of the weather. The Reher sales team is looking forward to your visit and will be happy to advise you. Test drives are also possible at any time!

In addition to all service work, accident repairs are also carried out by trained personnel in the workshop. Our extensive spare parts warehouse keeps almost all required parts in stock.

Our plant in Neuhofen

Since July 2014, all structural and welded aluminum components for Trailer and vehicle assembly for the main plant in Tuntenhausen have been manufactured at the new ALGEMA FIT-ZEL plant in Neuhofen an der Krems, Austria. On more than 2,000 m² with about 15 employees in production and administration are also produced all trailer models of UNI-TRANS , the "special model" EURO, the DUO and new the assembly of all tarp trailers. A small repair and spare parts department completes the field of activity in the factory.

This is not the only reason why numerous vehicle manufacturers in the car transporter sector rely on close cooperation with EDER GmbH. Long-standing partnerships exist with manufacturers such as Mercedes Benz, Ford, Opel, Renault and Volkswagen. Here, man has been one of the manufacturer's premium partners since 2016. However, not only the automotive industry and its sales organizations, but also car dealerships, workshops, specialist companies in the bodywork+paint sector, car rental companies, specialists for the transport of classic cars and international breakdown services rely on the quality made by EDER.
Vehicle transporters and salvage companies are of particular importance. EDER GmbH is an industry member of the VBA (Association of Recovery and Towing Companies) and is always available to the organized towing industry with its entire know-how. EDER GmbH is certified by the official ISO certificate "Quality Management according to ISO 9001", which attests to the highest quality.
