More length and width for even greater payload
Man it looks at first glance. With a length of 6,200 mm and a width of 2,290 mm, the large loading area of the new Algema Blitzlader Heavy Duty (HD) not only offers enough space for longer vehicles, but also for heavier ones.
The name suffix Heavy Duty stands for the new vehicle transporter's impressive payload of 3.6 tons. The new Blitzlader HD is built on a Iveco chassis. As with all other versions of the Blitzlader, the front axle and driver's cab of the HD version are linked to the frame developed by ALGEMA FIT-ZEL, including the chassis and the tried-and-tested, time-saving articulation mechanism.
The loading area of the Blitzlader HD
With a length of 6,200 mm and a width of 2,290 mm, the loading area of the Blitzlader HD makes it possible to transport longer and wider vehicles. Thanks to the Easy Load System, the vehicle is ready for loading in just a few seconds and has a drive-on angle of just 10.5°. The name ALGEMA FIT-ZEL continues to stand for the high quality of the entire body. This can be seen, for example, in the aluminum design of the loading area. The Blitzlader HD also impresses with numerous practical details. Examples of this are the very spacious toolbox or the central ramp that can be switched on electrically using the remote control of the Blitzlader. Further equipment options are also available.
High towing weight and swivel trailer hitch
With a gross train weight of 10.5 tons, nothing stands in the way of using the Blitzlader HD as a road train. The automatically swiveling trailer coupling, which shortens loading and unloading times, is helpful here. The Blitzlader HD also comes with two axles. This not only results in less tire wear, but also offers advantages abroad, such as lower tolls.
